"I Have No Desire to Ever Go to Asia"...
That was the first thing out of my mouth a year ago when David asked me where I would go if I could visit any place in the world. The Lord's ways are not our ways, and for that I'm grateful. Not only will David and I be visiting Thailand in the next few months, we hope that our family will be calling it "home" about this time next year.
There's a long story of how this journey began, and we would love the opportunity to personally share that with each of you this next year as we prepare for this journey. The short version is that one day this past February, within about an hour of time, in separate places and in different ways, God called me and David both to long-term overseas missions.
If you are interested in meeting with either of us in person or on the phone to hear more, you can email us at EnglandsInAsia@gmail.com. We'd love to connect and personally share what God is doing in our lives.
Isaan is the northeastern region of Thailand, home to 22 million people
who currently have little to no way to hear the gospel.
Long story very short, we feel called to be a part of a Pioneers mission team in the Isaan region of Thailand, and we are prayerfully looking at the province of Nakhon Phanom as the place to spend the greater part of this next decade.
Please partner with us in prayer!
Join us in praying that...
- God would ransom people from Isaan to worship the one true creator God.
- God would provide the monthly support that we need to be able to leave in about a year.
- God would continue to raise up a gospel witness for His name in Isaan. We believe that God will draw others to join us in this mission. Please pray for more laborers!
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." - Matthew 9:37-38
